I'm a children's book author and illustrator, muralist, and designer.  I started my own artistic business in December 2021 called Beningo Paint and Design.

I'm a former elementary art and technology teacher and would incorporate picture books into many of my lessons.  I earned my Bachelors in Visual Art Education from Central Michigan University, and my Masters in Visual Art Education from Western Michigan University.

I have a funny husband and two young kidlets that keep me smiling.  I love being a Michigander, but I also love to travel.  In my spare time I love to garden, bake and spend time with my family.  I have a cat named Callie who likes to lick grocery bags. I love things that are chubby or odd.
